SiDCOR Newcastle smashed through a whopping 72 delicious cupcakes this morning for animals in need.

RSPCA Cupcake Day is the sweetest way to raise money for our beloved four-legged friends. This year, Newcastle’s lunchroom played host to a morning tea with cupcakes delivered fresh from local baker Cupcake Espresso. Through gold coin donation and a raffle run by our very own greyhound lover, Holly Edmunds, the team raised an impressive $620.30.

The following day, the SiDCOR Gold Coast team came together to chomp down on designer cupcakes, raising an additional $145.00.

All proceeds from SiDCOR’s Cupcake Day went towards supporting the ongoing work of the RSPCA in caring for animals in need. Local fundraising means the charity can keep the doors of their animal shelters open and their inspectors on the road. Their education programs can continue, teaching our community about crucial topics such as animal care and welfare issues.
