We are pleased to announce that we have merged with MGI North Queensland.

This merger is great news for all clients because it enables us to consolidate and enhance the scope and quality of services we are delivering to you.  To be ahead of a constantly evolving business landscape we must continue to build on our expertise to remain at the leading edge and bring you the very best service. 

In 2017, we were awarded Best Place to Work as well as Accountant Daily’s Fastest Growing Firm. Recently, the Australian Financial Review ranked SiDCOR number 36 in the Top 100 Accounting Firms. 

Created by our current Managing Director, Paul Siderovski, SiDCOR is not a franchised company but rather a family business that has continued to grow. At the heart of SiDCOR is a team driven by a passion to change people’s lives; we do this by helping clients build real and better businesses, understanding their numbers, and acting as a trusting sounding board.

A shared belief that our clients’ needs always come first means the merger will bring significant benefits to you as we expand our service offering and enhance the high-quality expertise and resources at your disposal.

For our staff, it provides additional structured career and personal development opportunities.

Key points:

  • Our Port Douglas office will remain in Douglas Manor, 32 Macrossan Street and our Mossman office at Mt. Demi Plaza, 53 Front Street. Both offices will be staffed by the same core team. Our email and website address will be changing over to SiDCOR but will be redirected for a period of time if you should happen to use the other address.
  • Marg will continue to work with SiDCOR for the foreseeable future as will the staff who have previously looked after your interests – there will be no change to our direct client relationships.
  • Our professional fee structure will remain the same.

With this merger we can build an even better and stronger firm, while continuing our tradition of providing an excellent level of service, deep knowledge and industry expertise.

We are looking forward to working closely with the Port Douglas and Mossman team, but most importantly, we are thrilled about the benefits it will bring to our highly-valued clients.

From December 2017, the firm will operate under the banner of SiDCOR Chartered Accountants and will no longer be called MGI North Queensland.

Paul Siderovski is the founder of SiDCOR and boasts over 20 years experience as a taxation and business solutions expert.

He loves business, loves tax and accounting, loves life and improving the lives of others.

Scott Douglas - CEO

Scott oversees the operation and management of the business and its staff, whilst delivering on client needs with exceptional service and results.
