At SiDCOR we know how lucky we are - so we enjoy sharing the wealth and really giving something back to our staff, our community and our clients.
It is an important part of our business to give back to the community that supports us. We do this through a number of worthy causes and charitable organisations, including St Vincent de Paul. In 2011 Paul Siderovski took part in the important CEO Sleepout, where he joined hundreds of community and business leaders from around the country and slept rough to raise money for Australia's homeless. Helping others is so important that SiDCOR provide our people with special charity leave to support them in giving back.
SiDCOR are proud Gold Sponsors of 'Newcastle's Bowel of the Ball' where over $28,000 was raised. All proceeds from the event went to Crohn's and Colitis Australia (CCA).
For more information on bowel disease, please visit www.crohnsandcolitis.com.au.
At Christmas time, SiDCOR and our staff enjoy giving back. Thanks to the incredible generosity of Australians, the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal has collected over 5 million gifts for people in need over the past 23 years. This year's aim is to collect more than 475,000 gifts nationally.
So this year SiDCOR will be contributing to help more than 300,000 Australians who will need the support of the Salvation Army this Christmas Period.
Hundreds of Christmas gift tags have been placed on the SiDCOR Christmas Tree, and staff have been busy taking tags and leaving presents under our tree. These presents will all be delivered to Kmart on 14th December 2012 where they will help families all over Australia.
